McGavick exits Safeco with a cool 14.3 M

While Maria Cantwell is grabbing headlines for fighting with the oil companies and observing elections in Iraq, challenger Mike McGavick has worked a deal on his "retirement" from Safeco that will earn him a cool 14.3 million. That's 3.5 million more than Cantwell got when she exited RealNetworks and used that money to buy her seat in the Senate.
