Stevens vows revenge on Cantwell

In the wake of Cantwell's use of the so-called "Byrd rule" to kill plans for oil drilling in Alaska, Senator Ted Stevens vowed revenge. Complaining that the move also killed funding for hurricane relief and home heating oil assistance, Stevens told the Senate, "I am sure the senator from Washington will enjoy my visits to Washington, because I am going to visit there often."
