Not that I live in Seattle, but apologizing for them because they are mostly Democrats is a sure way to lose there. And if McGavick loses in Seattle, or at least makes a poor showing, he might as well kiss off the race right now

Meanwhile Hillary is in Seattle fund raising for Cantwell as well as for her own reelection campaign in New York. The fact she is fundraising for both campaigns, particularly when she is expected to win easily in New York, suggests the Ds really do not believe Cantwell is vulnerable. Noted political analyst Larry J. Sabato suggests she will benefit from a nationwide Democratic drift.
